GreyDuck completed a project with Delta Environmental Consultants, a global environmental consulting company. The project was to upgrade their legacy accounting and project tracking system from a VAX system to a client/server architecture. Lotus Notes is used as the front end data capture and Lotus Notes agents are used to synchronize data with the backend SQL database that the accounting system is based on.
Lotus Notes provides an extensible approach for Delta's more than 40 branch offices to directly interact with their time and expense system.
